WADIZ

와디즈

Mike Stilkey, a Los Angeles-based American writer, is a book art writer who uses books to create eye-catching, large-scale works.

Through Wadiz funding, the artist agreed to release book art sculptures and original prints for those who are suffering from COVID-19, and expressed hope that this work will give us dreams and hope after a difficult time, just as we overcame the difficult time and dreamed a new dream while painting.

Each book sculpture has a unique personality, Mike Stilke's sensitivity, art philosophy, and analog touch in common, and the original engraving is curated among the artist's book art sculptures and consists of works worth keeping.

"A snow-cleaning rabbit, a magpie playing a ukulele, a zebra butler, a pink cat in a bowtie, and a bear in a red hat" was depicted, and the project showed a chance to collect Mike Stilke's work in my own space with the result of funding success.
