Dunchon Jugong Apartment, which has been a major residential space in eastern Seoul since its completion in 1979 and has been a home for residents for about half a century, has made a new start with Olympic Park Foreon in November 2024. This exhibition reflects on the important meaning of Dunchon Jugong Apartment in the process of urban development in Seoul through various photos, detailed drawings, and historical records collected ahead of the reconstruction of Dunchon Jugong Apartment, and warms up the stories of the lives of residents that have been going on for a long time. It visually conveys precious memories of the past, shows the flow of Olympic Park Foreon through the composition of the exhibition space, and shows the flow of Dunchon Jugong Apartment to a new future through the exhibition. Visitors will experience a special "time travel" where they can vividly experience the past and present of Dunchon Jugong Apartment through the exhibition, and draw expectations and hopes for a new life in Olympic Park Foreon. This project went beyond simple changes in residential spaces, and shared a meaningful moment to preserve the memories and meanings of people who have been living together for a long time, and to cheer for a new start.
