the LUNA PROJECT
Luna Project, in commemoration with the 50th anniversary of Snoopy's moon landing
The Luna Project is a public art project hosted by Sticky Monster Lab and Lotte Museum of Art. Be Big is an organizer of this public project and in charge of communication and operation. The project is a part of the exhibition To the Moon with Snoopy at Lotte Museum of Art in commemoration of 50th anniversary of Snoopy’s moon landing. The monsters, designed by Sticky Monster Lab, symbolize a universe; earth and planets surrounds it and the venue, Seokchon lake, works as a galaxy. The main character, The Earthmon, seems falling a sleep and dreaming and the other monsters mean a symbiotic relationship of eco system. After sunset, the inflatables are lightening and it makes a beautiful scenery overall. The inflatables are produced with recycled textiles and delivers a message for environmental protection.
