Juan stated that his inspiration stemmed from his upbringing in Argentina, surrounded by cookie tins, snack packaging, and cartoon mascots at his grandfather's home. The artist has been commissioned by numerous animation studios and is currently based in Berlin. His retro-inspired works have been applied to commercial illustrations, murals for cultural institutions, cereal boxes, and for brands like Samsung.
